How Confidence Lab works

A structured way to practise before the real interview, from telling us what you are preparing for to reading your readiness report.

Confidence Lab gives candidates a structured way to practise before the real interview.

From preparation to confidence

  1. Tell us what you are preparing for — the role, industry and type of opportunity.
  2. Get matched with an expert whose experience is relevant to what you are preparing for.
  3. Attend your practice interview online, in a structured setting.
  4. Receive structured feedback on your strengths and the areas you can improve.
  5. Understand your readiness, and what to prioritise next.

How we choose your expert

Confidence Lab does not ask you to search through profiles. We recommend one expert at a time, based on what you told us about the interview you are preparing for.

We consider your role and industry, the level you are applying at, any specialisation you named, the language you want the interview held in, the package you chose, and the times you are available. An expert must meet every one of your requirements — we do not offer you somebody who nearly fits.

If the expert we recommend is not right, tell us why and we will look again, once. You will never be shown the same expert twice after that.

What you receive afterwards

Your readiness report is completed by your expert, not generated automatically. It sets out where you performed well, what to develop, and recommended next steps for your preparation.

It is a coaching assessment. It is not a verdict on you as a candidate and it is not shared with employers.
